The Hotel Waldschlösschen is a hotel which I can only recommend to a limited extent. The room was comfortably furnished and the bed was soft so that you could sleep well. However, the bathroom was very unsuccessful. There was an open shower where the water splashed up to the door and man had to be careful that the whole bathroom was not flooded. The service was fine. Breakfast is recommended, with nice service. The location of the hotel was a bit too far for me personally. However, we also went by bike. Conclusion: a hotel where you can stay one night. However, if you want to make a longer stop and have fun with children, it is not recommended.

The rooms are renovated, but poorly thought out. <br> Light switch behind the sliding glass door. <br> The shower is spacious, but very very smooth. <br> Mattresses of the box spring beds, very soft, so that you fall down when you come to the edge . <br> <br> Breakfast was fresh, rich and very delicious. <br> lunch, first class food. 👍🏽

We stayed 2 nights. Everything a bit shabby, but still clean. Both rooms we reserved faced the back. Room 11 had a completely new, walk-in shower. The shower head was calcified and therefore did not bubble properly. I told the lady in the morning on the same day that you could decalcify the shower head in vinegar water for a few hours without much effort. But in the evening nothing had happened. I also complained about a shower curtain, because the access to the shower was open. In the walk-in shower everything splashed out, despite caution. The floor in the bathroom was then quite smooth and you had to be careful not to slip your shower flaps. The lady from the hotel said it should be. The sink had a long crack and was of an older date, but functional. The breakfast was plentiful and OK. In the tavern you could take the dead flies out of the curtains with the hand vacuum cleaner, they were really clean and white, but a bit disgusting with the flies. Overall, the prices could therefore have been a little lower. Single EUR 65, - and double EUR 94, - per night including breakfast paid.

Quiet location, very good kitchen, clean rooms, friendly service. On our next "Tour de Ruhr" we will gladly come back.

Bathroom quite small Breakfast for me at 8 o'clock was only available white bread. Not a place for relaxation and a walk The reception is the counter of the integrated pub Bearable for one night. Request for a second pillow via the hrs portal was not granted. TV programs are the HR programs that are not open and cannot be watched. Further down you will find the non-HD programs.

We were there a few days ago and enjoyed it very much. The service is really good and the food fantastic. For my hatch there was something to snack on and a bowl of water to the table. Very friendly also for dog owners and alone travelers with dog. 5 stars better in my eyes it is not.
